As is the tradition of the Philippine Art Awards, all 8 national winners of the PAA 2010 were flown to Shanghai, China as part of their prize in line with the competition’s objective of providing an opportunity for cross-cultural exposure to winning artists. Shanghai is considered a cosmopolitan city with a thriving art scene and will provide the artists the necessary exposure for them to know the emerging trends in contemporary art outside the Philippines.
